Excellent job ! They look great, I am also a fan of plastic bashing, but I lack your skill with green stuff. Would like to try an Ottoman army, but cannot find anything decent for armoured janissaries (zhirli nefer). Where did you get the Balkan shields (you used them for the Wallachians as well) ? I have failed to find a source for such separate shields.

Hey Dan. Thank you for the compliment. You could create armoured Janissaries with the Fireforge Russians > Look Here > https://skarlocs.wordpress.com/2020/08/22/voynuks/
Just scratch their helmets clean 🙂 … and I think they will look the part then.
Regarding the shields: I make almost all my shields by printing them on paper, glueing them on cardboard (cereal boxes) and cutting them out. Almost all shields above are done this way (Eastern and Western Sipahis, Voynuks).

Very creative and colourful! I like the DIY aspects too 😀 May I ask where you got those halberd heads from?

Thank you. They are from Fireforge Games. Available in plastic.

Aaaah! I got one of their ‘Bardics’ sets mistakenly labelled as ‘Halberds’ once. I thought they looked a bit on the big side. Great will track some down! 🙂

I have to say, these look excellent. And, from what I was able to determine, historically accurate as well.
Well done!

Thank you very much aldariontelcontar. Indeed, there was quiet some research going on for the time between 1420-1440.
